The Must Read Preamble...

This site was designed to assist researchers and family members of the CRANN family of Newfoundland and the Placentia Bay area in particular. The information was accumulated from several sources, by several researchers, over a good period of time.

To protect the privacy of living people we will eventually apply passwords to gain access to recent family member information on certain noted pages. In the meantime, we will only display individuals from the 1920’s and earlier.

Although we are attempting to verify the information listed on these pages, do not believe everything you read here. We have tried to enter each detail accurately, but I'm sure there are errors and omissions.
